Barter-In does not guarantee or verify the accuracy of information posted by other users or the items exchanged.
5. Safety and Personal Responsibility
We provide guidelines for safe bartering practices, but the responsibility for personal safety during bartering lies entirely with the user. When meeting other users to exchange items, we recommend the following:
-
Meet in a public place.
-
Avoid meeting alone; bring someone with you if possible.
-
Arrange meetings during daylight hours.
-
Inform a trusted person about the meeting location and time. Barter-In is not responsible for any harm, injury, theft, loss, or disputes arising from interactions or transactions between users.
6. Prohibited Items
Users may not list or barter items that are illegal, hazardous, or prohibited under UK law. This includes, but is not limited to, items such as weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods, and stolen property. Barter-In reserves the right to remove any listings that violate these terms.
